How i t all started
G.S.C. was born from necessity in late 2006 by two brothers born and raised in the slums of North Georgia. The Grandsons of Moonshiners, they clung onto their Irish roots and cultivated their Irish Heritage. These brothers, "Young Jay" and "Danny O'Moore," grew up quick and sought refuge in their hostile environs through the art of Hip/Hop, alongside a childhood friend and hype man, "BoGutta." The group got a fast start and burst onto the local Hip/Hop scene, performing at local showcases and being featured on major mix tapes from the Legion Of Doom (L.O.D.). Who helped jump start the careers of such major artists like Young Jeezy.
Soon after, G.S.C. started opening for major acts such as Ying Yang Twins, JT Money, and Kilo: throughout many states on the East Coast. Propelling them onto the international scene, with songs like Spite, by Irish rapper Rob Kelly, who was featured in XXL Magazine. What sets G.S.C. apart from other southern hip hop groups, are Young Jay's lyrical and grimy style of rapping. With Danny O'Moore's outstanding southern swag, with a commanding delivery on the mic and an unstoppable writing ability together with "BoGutta's" high energy and stage presence, G.S.C. is in the forefront of southern Hip/Hop music.
